Today is my 5
th day in McLeod Ganj. Well, I somehow felt better and decided to have a look on Dharamsala and McLeod Ganj. Ever since I’m suffering from the unknown illness since my arrival here, I never have the opportunity to see and learn about this place.
I decided to take a stroll as far as my weak body can sustain, before going to the hospital as I promised to myself last night. (did I?)

Dharamsala is reverberated as the home of the 14
th Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Government in Exile whereas McLeod Ganj is a little touristic travelers’ town, approximately 4 km uphill from Dharamsala. It has become the major center for the study of Tibetan Buddhism and culture ever since the Chinese invasion of
Tibet in 1960s which forced the 14
th Dalai Lama and his entourage to claim asylum here. Tibetan Buddhism culture abounds here. Despite the illness which had spoilt the mood, I like McLeod Ganj.
It wasn’t until I walked downhill along Jogibara Road for more than 30 minutes that I realized the only hospital which I know in McLeod Ganj was still distant away. Darkness started to fall and I won’t be able to make it there. I quit finally. I afraid I won’t be able to make my way back later on considering the very steep road as if it was laid to take one’s life away.
Tomorrow lar… tomorrow would be a better day. Tomorrow never dies.
Damn it! I hope there will be no excuse anymore tomorrow.
