Hauling with my sick body, heavy-footed, I managed to move to another cheaper guesthouse today recommended by Ah Peng. It’s not only cheaper but there is also a hot shower and the staffs are friendly(one of the staff looked so damn similar with Lee Chong Wei(World No.1 badminton player from Malaysia)), unlike the guesthouse I stayed last two nights where apart from being not value for money(there was only cold shower), there were so many rules and restrictions(no laundry is allowed; curfew at 11pm; etc) and the unfriendly face of the management(you have to photocopy your passport’s front page and visa page by yourself upon checking in!) has no difference with a rotten egg.
The worst thing in traveling is not falling sick but to find a good(cheap, well-equipped and fully functioning) place to buy time for the unforeseen recovery.
Loling Monastery Guesthouse in McLeod Ganj |
I need to take a hot shower as desperate as doing a laundry, especially those clothes I wore while staying in the Golden Temple. I want to get rid of every possible trace of the bed bugs. I’m almost certain that everything I’m currently suffering began when I was bitten by the bed bugs in the Golden Temple in Amritsar. I’m almost convinced that the root evil is the bed bugs. But as far as I concern, bed bugs don’t carry disease. But WC told me some bed bugs do carry diseases.
Ok, that made me worries.

So was it the Monastery Guesthouse that had the good room? I had a recommendation for this place, but heard they only had cold water.
Thank you for any help!
I don't need luxury. That's why the cheapie Loling suited me very well.
