Bahla Fort

Bahla Fort was once an Immense fort attested to the power of the Bani Nehban tribe who dominated the area from the 12th to the end of 15th century. It has been undergoing long-time restoration since 1987 and is still closed to public when I arrived in Bahla on 13th January 2011.

Note: Bahla Fort is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site (Cultural Site) inscribed in 1987.
